From March 25th to March 27th, 2025, Wanglong Food Co., Ltd. in Bayannur City showcased high-quality agricultural products at the Mexico City International Food Exhibition. As a representative enterprise of agricultural products in northwest China, Wanglong Food focused on showcasing high-quality agricultural products such as chili noodles, dried chili peppers, chili seeds, sunflower seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seeds. With its natural and healthy quality and unique flavor, it became one of the highlights of the exhibition. This exhibition not only enhanced the brand's international influence, but also established cooperation intentions with customers from multiple countries, laying a solid foundation for the company to expand into the American market.
The Mexican Food and Supermarket Equipment Exhibition EXPO ANTAD is hosted by the Mexican National Association of Shopping Centers and Supermarkets (ANTAD), which was established in 1983. Its members include 107 chain brands, including 35 self-service supermarket brands and 17 department store chain brands. Member companies account for nearly 50% of Mexico's wholesale and retail market share, making it the largest and most influential food and beverage exhibition in Mexico, as well as a platform for gathering food and beverage industry professionals.
EXPO ANTAD is the largest commercial event in Latin America, serving as a hub for retail and HoReCa innovation and knowledge, attracting thousands of visitors and exhibitors from around the world, creating a vibrant environment where the exhibition is changing industry trends and technologies.
The scale and influence of Expo ANTAD have been increasing year by year, with a total exhibition area of over 50000 square meters by 2025. Food and beverage exhibitors account for more than 70% of the total exhibition area, with 1200 exhibitors and over 52000 professional visitors from Mexico and surrounding countries attending the event. International renowned food companies such as Coca Cola, Binbao, Corona, and Heineken, as well as numerous local food companies in Mexico, have chosen to showcase their brands and promote new products at this exhibition.
At the Mexico International Food Exhibition (Expo ANTAD) held in March 2025, we had in-depth exchanges with chili industry experts and peers from around the world. The dazzling array of chili products at the exhibition provided us with valuable industry insights and market inspiration, and established technical cooperation with the Mexican Chili Association to understand new industry standards and trends.
During the exhibition period, Wanglong Food's booth received over 1000 professional visitors, including international buyers such as Mexican chain supermarkets and American food distributors. And reached preliminary agreements with 50 international buyers, with a total intention order amount of approximately 1.5 million US dollars.
Through exhibition research, we have observed that there is a growing demand for popular local products such as dried chili peppers, chili noodles, and chili products. Organic certified products are more favored, compound flavors have become a new trend, and sustainable packaging is highly valued. This exhibition provides a direction for the company's future product research and development. Based on the gains from the exhibition, we will establish a demonstration base for chili pepper cultivation in Mexico, develop customized products that meet local tastes, and improve the international quality certification system.
This exhibition is an important step in Wanglong Food's "going global" strategy. Next, the company will accelerate the landing of intended orders and establish a distribution network in the Americas, laying a solid foundation for the international development of our chili industry. We will continue to innovate and provide higher quality chili products to consumers worldwide.
